WITHOUT FEAR OR LIMITS

I wish more people would challenge themselves to make their extreme dreams come true, to face their fears and doubts, to question the existence of impossible.

Veronika has decided to become the first Hungarian woman ever to reach the South pole alone. As part of the preparation she sailed the seas for three years, reaching the Cook Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean from Malta. Since her return, all her strength is directed at the preparation for the expedition, including a Norwegian camp. The lone journey of 1140 km is expected to take 57 days, with no outside help, carrying all her belongings on a sledge.

Nothing could break her determination throughout the years, anything that has come her way has been conquered or won over. She believes any obstacle can be overcome with precise determination, a strong will, and lots of energy.

Veronika – who’s been born to a Hungarian mother and an English father – seems to have an unbreakable willpower and resoluteness that could be set as an example for others. Not only plans she to haul a 60kg sledge in minus 40 degrees for 8-12 hours a day, but she plans to do this as a woman. Years of ascetic preparation and not letting her goal out of sight has led to this mission coming to life, with a set date of reaching the South pole in January 2018. This journey of 1140 km requires a special kind of toughness and energy.

Lately Veronika has found herself giving lectures to elementary and high school children about overcoming your fears, and the importance of believing in your dreams.
